I’m NOT a huge fan of cheesecake, normally. The only two I’ve ever encountered that I really enjoyed and wanted more of were at Outback Steakhouse and the ones that my husband’s Uncle Tom makes. His are just to die for, they’re truly fabulous! So rich and creamy, and the crust is just PERFECT. I was very excited when he posted the recipes for his on his blog – yes, recipes. He has many variations. I waited until I finally got my stand mixer and had a “special occassion” to try it out – Easter Sunday. What says Easter more than a creamy cheesecake?
I was very nervous, I was a bit intimidated by how delicious his are and after a failed attempt at making marshmallows a few days earlier, I was not very confident. I’m very pleased to say it worked beautifully! No cracks AT ALL! I’m not going to take the time to type out all of his recipe, I’ll just direct you to his blog. Make sure to try it soon, it’s truly the best cheesecake you will ever eat!
And here are a few pictures of the one I made:
