Buffalo Chicken Dip

As a self-proclaimed buffalo wing addict, of course I had to try buffalo chicken dip the minute I heard about it in the Kraft Food and Family Magazine a couple of years ago.  You’ve got two of my favorite things here — buffalo wings and dip!  Heaven!  It doesn’t disappoint.  This easy recipe will be gone before you know it, so make sure to get a bite!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:
1 package cream cheese (8 ounces), softened
1/2 cup of your favorite buffalo wing sauce or hot sauce
1 stalk celery, chopped fine or into small chunks
1/2 cup bleu cheese dressing (we like Marie’s Super Bleu Cheese)
1.5 cups finely chopped cooked chicken

Method:

Combine all ingredients and microwave for 5 minutes, stirring often.  Serve hot with celery sticks or wheat thins crackers.  We like the ranch flavored wheat thins.

The Verdict:  As I said earlier, this is fantastic!  We like to use the Emeril’s brand wing sauce, but whatever you like is fine.  Make sure you buy a lot of crackers or celery, because if you run out you will probably just start eating it with a fork!  It’s that good!
